I've come across this word and don't know what it is: "sharpie".
What is a sharpie?

the marker you use on the dry erase boards? Thats the only sharpie I know

Actually, I think its a permanent marker that is used for autographs...I'd hate to be the student who used one on a dry erase board (LOL!) ;D

NO!!!! Ya'll are crazy...I know about THAT sharpie--the permanent marker--I'm ROTFLMAO......I've heard the term "sharpie" used to represent some sort of conduct. I think it is some sort of lewd or sexual act. Or something like that.......

I have no clue but this is what i found on the internet hope it helps . 1. A long, narrow, flatbottom fishing boat having a centerboard and one or two masts, each rigged with a triangular sail. a. an alert, quick-witted person. b. a sharper.

Thanks, Brianschula for going through the trouble of looking in a dictionary ;D I'm sure it's some sort of slang...I came across the term in a magazine article with a football player who said something about other guys on the team giving or doing sharpies....then on this very website, there was link to an article about our beloved BM--in which Brian was asked about signing below the waste, and either Brian or the interviewer said that "but a sharpie is not having sex" --so I'm confused
