If you need help using the message board, or if you're new to the system... post your messages here and one of us can help.
You'll find that the functions are awesome on this message board so you have lots of options in terms of font sizes, colors, smiley faces, instant messages, adding your URL links etc.
You can also insert tables, and even "Flash" to your messages.. yes believe it or not.. it is possible!
So enjoy!
Cheers,

What software are you using? I have a 3Com web cam and it has built in software that lets you convert your captured images into any Paint program etc. Then you can save it as a GIF or JPG and then upload it afterwards. What type of webcam do you have? When you acquire an image from a program like Paint Shop pro, then you should see it on your screen. Then just save it in GIF or JPG and you will have access to your images. Hope this helps If you don't have Paint Shop Pro or similar programs, you can find them at a shareware site like: www.download.comor www.tucows.com

You post pictures by hitting that button next to the "Mail" button on that "Add Tags" section. Now the URL part refers to the location of the picture on the web... so for example if my photo of Brian McKnight was at: www.brian-mcknight.com/photos/mybrianphoto.jpgthen I would use the ' ' and put in: www.brian-mcknight.com/photos/mybrianphoto.jpg, and then close it off by '[/img]' now you wouldn't need the ' << but I just put that single quote so it wouldn't actually work. But in your case, you could just use the img tag and then put the hypertext link, and then tell it when the URL link ends and close it off with [/img] basically in HTML, the ' / ' stands for "stop" or "end of the argument, line, etc". For example this is an inserted image:

Hmm.. it's hard to type the explanation because it thinks that you want to insert an image... but if you simply click that icon that looks like a tiny portrait (located next to the mail button on that toolbar) you will see that the "img" and then URL and then "/img" comes up. What that means is that you delete the letters URL and insert the hyperlink or location of your photo there. So if your photo is located at: www.geocities.com/myphoto.jpgthen you put in "img"http://www.geocities.com/myphoto.jpg"/img" but instead of using quotes, " you would use the square brackets.. Then it will work. Hope that helps! -Winst
