Wow... tonight I went back to Staples (the office supply store) to return a stapler that I bought and man..... the lineups were crazy!
Is anyone else out there getting mauled by the back to school frenzy or is it just me?
This is the first year that Lauren is going to pre-school so at least for now we don't need to get any major supplies... but I'm curious for those of you with young kids or maybe even teenagers.. that bill must rack up pretty quick.
Any horror stories to share?

I normally don't find lines at the school supply store. That is fairly quick. The hour long line actually pops up when I have to buy her UNIFORM each year. I hate doing that. Thank goodness, this year I wiped that one out early and only waited a half hour on line. Which is pretty good.
I can't wait till she starts next Thursday. Hahaha. Winston, once Lauren gets to the 5th grade like Celina, you will be bouncing too. Hahaha Celina is just excited to see who landed in her class this year. LOL!

My girls go back on Wednesday after Labor Day! Lines are crazy because for the past couple of weeks schools are opening - so everywhere is crowded! No matter what city you go into.
Have to still do clothes shopping!
Winston - cherish these pre-school years!!!!

The only horror is in my household. No matter how many different things were going on during summer; it's just something about [shadow=red,left,300]"BACK TO SCHOOL"[/shadow] thing that automatically makes me stressed. My kids just returned on the 3rd and it's just choatic. First day, sign this, read that, then I need money--money for this, money for that. And this is only the beginning, one day down and still a whole 9 1/2 months to go....

My two started today. OK - this is weird. My oldest who starts 7th grade today was up at 6. Came in and gave me 2 kisses before 630...DRESSED and out the door by 7:50. I got out of the shower and told my husband - "Brittany better get going, where is she??" He was like - "she's gone already" I about hit the floor.
Is this the same child that we had to leave on several occasions last year because she moved too slow? AMAZING what a difference a year makes.
But it rings true as you said: money, lunches, this and that!

WOW I have to give all of the parents a hand of applause because I could not do what you do and handle everything that is going on in my life right now at the same time
